The National History Bee is an exciting academic competition designed to motivate and reward students for studying history! The highest-scoring students on the online exam are invited to attend the Regional Finals, an exciting opportunity for students to display their knowledge and qualify for the National Finals. Questions are written and edited by history teachers, professors, and other social studies educators from around the United States. Question content is split evenly between United States and non-United States history and is generally relevant to 5th through 8th grade social studies curricula. Additional information is available at http://www.aceqb.com/historybee.

APACHE's History Bee will consist of a fun and interactive classroom-type bee and a 50-question (20 minute) online test that will be proctored at the Morton Library on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  The Bee will begin at 12:30, and will be followed by the online test for those interested in taking it.

Please register online for this event and include the name(s) and grade(s) of your participating children in the "internal notes" section.  There is no charge for this event and it is open to all area homeschoolers.

You may register through noon on January 17th.
