We are honored to have Doug Wright as our Commencement Speaker. Doug and Theresa, his wife of forty-one years, live in Washington IL and are members of Bethany Community Church. Doug received his Business Degree from Washington State University. He owned his own business (management recruiting) for five years, then led sales and marketing at Keystone Steel in Bartonville for seven years. He started at Precision Planting in Tremont IL in 2020. Doug continues his business career in the marketplace as a sales and marketing executive at Precision, where he is responsible for global sales and marketing which allows him to travel extensively. Doug and Theresa have served at Bethany Community Church since 2008 as youth leaders, disciplers, small group leaders, and Doug as Sunday School teacher and deacon for a season. Both became Christians in their forties, and Doug attended seminary at Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte NC, receiving Masters of Religion and Masters of Apologetics degrees. During his career, Doug has benefited greatly from mentors and now has the opportunity to mentor and coach a number of people in their career, life, and spiritual growth. He has a strong commitment to helping others learn, grow, and wrestle with life and faith’s greatest questions and desires.
